Tundra Media v 2.0

As the economy has ravaged many production companies, at Tundra Media we have used the downturn to our advantage. Over the past several months, we have expanded our scope of services, by investing in new technologies and seeking out the best and brightest people in the industry.

On the technology front, we have upgraded most of our tools and brought in additional photogrammetry software. This software will help us improve our modeling capacity for those tasks where precision is important, but direct measurement would be impractical or impossible. These specialized tools have been instrumental for law enforcement, game development, and many other creative visual applications. We have also expanded our 2D tracking capabilities by including planar tracking, and we have increased our 3D match moving capabilities.

Communicating with our clients has always been a top priority. Beyond our longstanding client FTP capabilities, newer technologies will allow us to incorporate frame accurate client review tools as well as online video teleconferencing. These improvements will allow most customers to see much of what we see, in near real time. We have also initiated a major overhaul of our website. While initial changes may not be especially noticeable, we have opted for a much cleaner look, and we are committed to providing substantially more information on our processes.

As we begin the pre-production phase of our anticipated children s series "The Bo Project", we have begun upgrading our 2D production pipeline to accommodate our increasing needs. Although this in-house project remains in early development, our new capabilities will prove beneficial to the rest of our clients. Stay tuned, as we expect more developments in the months to come.
